The Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band
Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band brings the vibrant sounds, colours and traditions of Rajasthan to audiences around the world. Formed in Jaipur, the band combines the energy of a traditional brass band with the rich musical heritage of the Indian subcontinent.
From lively street parades and festivals to concert stages and cultural celebrations, the band creates a joyful, unforgettable experience. Their repertoire moves effortlessly between Rajasthani folk melodies, Bollywood favourites, qawwalis, Bhangra rhythms and popular music.

The People Behind the Sound
In Rajasthan, music has traditionally been learned through a close relationship between teacher and student. Skills, melodies and musical traditions are passed down through generations, often through observation, practice and years of performing alongside more experienced musicians. This living tradition keeps the music rooted in its community while allowing each new generation to bring its own energy and expression.

At the heart of Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band are highly skilled musicians from Jaipur and neighbouring villages, bringing together generations of musical tradition with the energy of a modern brass band.

The band’s colourful costumes are inspired by the traditional dress and vibrant visual culture of Rajasthan. Bright turbans, flowing fabrics and bold colours create an instantly recognisable look that reflects the warmth, character and celebration of the region.

Farzana Khan Neazi
On stage and in the streets, the costumes become part of the performance itself — adding movement, colour and a strong sense of place to the music. Together with the brass instruments and infectious rhythms, they bring a distinctive piece of Rajasthan to audiences around the world.

Founder & Artistic Director
Danish Neazi is the founder and creative force behind Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band, bringing together the musicians, repertoire and visual identity that define the band. His work has helped introduce the vibrant sounds and traditions of Rajasthan to audiences across the UK, Europe and beyond.
FARZANA KHAN NEAZI
Tour Manager & Creative Director
Farzana Khan Neazi works across the creative and touring side of the band, helping shape its visual presentation, costumes, performances and touring activity. Her experience in the performing arts and close connection with the band have played an important role in bringing its work to audiences around the world.
